This month has flown by very fast. Lots of cold weather and some snow here in ky. I have actually been busy sewing. I have accomplished alot this month.
Tomorrow is Quilt Guild day. Yeah!! I get to see what others are working on. It is a fun but exhausting day. Soon it will be our quilting retreat. It is the first of April. I am so looking forward to it. I haven't gotten to go to one in a long time. I will take pictures and post here. In the meantime I hope everyone stays as warm as a bug in a rug.

Whats baken in my kitchen
Yummy this is going into the oven...Can you smell it? It is honey oat bread. I mix the dough in my bread machine then when that cycle is completed I put into my glass dishes and set in warm spot to rise for 45-60 minutes. Then it is ready for baking... Do you like homemade bread? Do you have smell-a-puter? Setting out the butter so it is ready when the bread is done baking....
More pics
Someday I hope I learn how to add the pics where I want them. They should have been below my post. Hope you enjoy them anyway..
Moving right along......
This year is moving right along. Are you getting those ufo's done?I have been getting alot of piecing done. I have finish 1 queen size top (one with red stripes), 1 twin size top (one with blue stripes) and a baby one (john deer) for our new grandbaby boy coming first week of March. The queen size is at the quilters as I speak. The baby one will be going to the quilters on Monday. I am always anxious to get them back from the quilter. The quilts are always prettier after they are quilted and the binding on..

Augusta, Ky
We visited this little river town and here are a few pictures. If you ever get a chance to stop there it is a rather quiet little town. It is where the Clooneys are from.
New Year Flying by
Here it is the 6th of Jan. already. This new year is flying by. I have finally started knitting my socks. I have had the yarn since early summer 2009. I found an easy sock pattern, or so it seems so far. I have been putting off starting the socks because I was so afraid they would be too hard to do. I am actually enjoying knitting them.
