This is my new to me Quilting Machine. I have it all set up now. Completed that last night about 10 pm. Hopefully soon I will be able to show some first time quilting results. May not be so good but hey...they say practice makes perfect..
Here is a machine that was given to me by the person I bought the quilting machine from. I got this for free..
I have cleaned and oilded it. It sounds like a dream. Now I need to find some needles. It takes a special (short) needle. I just can't wait to get them and sew with it.....

Oh WOW!! I'm so glad that you got them! Looks like a very nice setup. I think what I like best about having a quilter and frame is the fact that I can quilt my own without having to fight with it on a table.
That was so nice of her to give you the other machine too! I can't wait to hear how it sews when you get needles.
I'm very excited for you!!!! Can't wait to see all the quilting that you get done with them. Now how many machines do these make you??? :) A woman can't have too many machines!

Hi Pauline,
Kristie (Cowgirl Quilter) sent me over. I can't wait to see your quilts using your new quilting machine. How excited you must be. Be blessed,
Michelle
Thanks Kristie for sending bloggers my way. Yes I am very excited. I am putting new leaders on it. Hopefully will get to practice soon.
Kristie,
I have 2 featherweights, a viking 1plus, a tan singer 301, viking saphire, a singer treadle, and a (Riccar)(sp) machine that my son bought me at an auction, when he was a freshman in high school. So I am machine pooooor... Love them all.
I wonder if the Organ brand needles would work for the Singer. Pretty nine patches. Are they going to be in your Hayseed quilt?
Not sure about Organ brand needles but I have some and will check them out.
Kim what is a Hayseed quilt?
